The Red Palace is a palace built by the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah in 1896 in the south of Jahra. It was called red in relation to the color of its red walls. The palace gained wide fame during the Brotherhood’s attack on Jahra in 1920.
